Towson University | Border Patrol
Located in Towson, Maryland, public Towson University is approximately 8 miles north of Baltimore. The school has more than 21,100 undergraduate and graduates enrolled in its programs. In its “Best Colleges 2011″ ratings, “U.S. News and World Report” ranked the school 46th among all regional universities in the United States. A Master of Science in integrated homeland security or border patrol is available through the university. Students specialize in information security, health preparedness or security policy. A practicum placement with a law enforcement agency is required for graduation. All courses for the program are offered online. With full-time study, the program is completable with three semesters of study or one full year including summer. The college allows for flexible scheduling, however, enabling students to take as few courses as they wish at one time to balance work schedules and other obligations.
